This has always been one of my favorite treats on a late summer night after and BBQ! Pineapple boats are amazing and have almost no ingredients or complicated steps. All you need is a fresh pineapple and some cinnamon as well as if you want some coconut sauce (1 cup). Now to cook it all you got to do is cut the pineapple lengthwise into quarters keeping the leaves on the top. next use a paring knife to carefully cut each corner of the pineapple from its shell as well as cutting off the hard top core section of the pineapple. Than cut the piece of the pineapple sitting on its shell in half lengthwise than into horizontal bite size pieces. Than grill till gold brownish and sprinkle lightly with the mixture of cinnamon and coconut sauce. And than enjoy!Creativity through Food

I have become addicted to the passion iced tea lemonade from Starbucks, its the light pink drink that everyone has in the summer. Its completely refreshing and healthy! I found the recipe and its not too hard. Here are your ingredients: passion hot tea (5 cups), soft drink mix lemonade unsweetened (2 tsp), water (3 cups), light brown sugar (3 tsp), lemon juice (1 whole yield).
once you have gotten all your ingredients you can begin to boil the cups of water and tea. As it heats up, add the lemon juice and sugar. than add the koolaid mix (the lemonade unsweetened stuff) to cold water in a pitcher. once both are finished combine them and stir until its well mixed and than it is ready to serve with ice! Super yummy!
MONKEY BREAD
The best morning breakfast for everyone with a sweet tooth is monkey bread for sure! Its warm and sticky is a satisfying breakfast. The ingredients are pretty simple as well and it only takes about thirty-five minutes to cook.
Here are the ingredients: The packages of refrigerated biscuit dough (12 ounces), white sugar (1 cup), cinnamon (2 tsp), and butter/margarine (1/2 cup). you may also add some type of nut such as almonds or raisins to the top of your money bread to give it some crunch but it is just as good plain. the process its quick as well, once you have preheated the oven to 350 degrees F, you should grease and pan (10 inch pan) and than set it to the side.
Next mix the the white sugar and cinnamon in a plastic baggie, than cut the biscuits into quarters and shake 6 to 8 biscuit pieces in the sugar cinnamon mix. once you have finished coating your biscuits, you can begin to arrange the pieces in the bottom of the pan and continue to stack or set them next to each other. if you decide to use nuts or raisins you may sprinkle them over the biscuits. Than in a small sauce pan melt the margarine with the brown sugar for about one minute than evenly pour it over the biscuits.
After all is done, you may place them in the oven to bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Let the bread than cool for about 10 minutes and than place on a plate and pull off the pieces and eat!

PUPPY CHOW
Everyone loves poppy chow, period. it is the best and simplest treat ever! I used to bring it in pounds to school before the..no peanut butter rule... no comment on that. but anyways everyone enjoys it, yet not everyone knows how to make it so here are some quick and easy step to make your own puppy chow at home.
Here are the ingredients, chex mix cereal (9 cups), chocolate chips (1 cup), butter (1/4 cup), vanilla (1/4 tsp), and powdered sugar (1 1/2 cup). a side tip or fact: if you want to make it healthier or lactosentolerant take out the butter it taste the exact same.
Now all you need is your measuring cups and a large bowl. Put all the chex mix into a large bowl. Than place the chocolate chips in a microwavable cup and microwave for a minute and stir, and than continue to microwave for thirty seconds and than stir till creamy. Once the chocolate is fully melted pour the chocolate into the large bowl and use clean hands to mix the chex into it. Once it is fully soaked you can put the vanilla in it and than if you so choose the butter. The very end is the messiest, place the powdered sugar into the bowl and again use your hands to mix well to where all the chex mix is covered with white powder. You can eat right away or put it in the fridge for awhile and than eat with a large glass of milk.
Using white chocolate is also a great idea, its Delicious!

Oreo Milk Shake
A refreshing combination of everyone’s favorite dessert and topping oreos and ice cream. It’s a cold and crunchy shake that looks and tastes delicious. There are few ingredients as well as simple and few steps. Here is the list of ingredients: chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream, Oreos, and milk (super simple!). The first step is putting a tsp of chocolate into a glass and letting is run over the whole bottom of the glass so its richly soaked in chocolate. Next, chop up about two oreo cookies and set them aside for the end. Than take four more cookies and place them in a blender along with milk and ice cream. There is no need for exact measurements (its whatever you prefer) and you just blend it till its smooth. Once you pour the mixture into the glass top it off with the chopped cookies and eat away!Tuesday, April 19, 2011
Chocolate Eclair Cake
Food lovers, i got another awesome dessert for you! Chocolate Eclair Cake, honestly it is amazing and super easy. it takes about 15 minutes to make, all you need is about one package (16 ounces) of frozen whipped topping, thawed. as well as one package (16 ounces) of prepared chocolate frosting. You need one package (16 ounces) of graham crackers, two packages (3.5 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix, and four cups of milk. Bam, you got your ingredients now for a couple of simple steps: Place a 9x13 inch backing pan on the counter and line the bottom with graham crackers. Than on the side in a large bowl combine the milk and vanilla. Once the two are mixed you may add the whipping topping and than spread that large mixture over the graham crackers. You continue to alternate between the filling and graham crackers till the top of the pan. After you have finished cook the container of prepared frosting, uncovered in the microwave for one minute only and than poor it over the top of the cake. The last and final step is refrigerating for at least 12 hours before serving! Seriously you need to try it! its sooo good! |

CAKE POPS
does anyone know about the new cake pops at Starbucks? they are amazing, they are basically cake on a lollipop stick. What makes them so delicious is the inside is creamy and moist cake. I did an experiment and tried to make them myself and they actually turned out great, although they weren't as pretty looking they tasted the same. so here is how you should go about it.
Basically you make a cake doesn't matter the size or amount. just pick a sort of cake you like and bake it. simple enough. once the cake is finished you want to take that cake and crumble it up into little bitty pieces into a large bowl. after they cake is completely destroyed you want to add maybe a half of a tub of icing (that is if you only made one box cake, the amount can vary). you plop that in and than for the fun and tasty part, you must mush them together with your hands. you continue to mix the cake and icing together till it is fully mixed in. it should be messy but it taste great.
next you pull on a baking sheet or pan and create little lollipop like balls and place them on the sheet. when you have made enough you have to get lollipop sticks (you can get them at any local craft store) and you just put them into the balls. once you get them all done you stick them in the freezer for about ten minutes. as they start to harden a little bit you can get out the type of baking chocolate you plan on using. after ten minutes in the freezer you can take them out. you must heat up and melt your chocolate in the microwave and than you are able to roll the cake pops in the chocolate till they are fully covered and than place them on a tray. this is messy and actually quite hard. if you want to do sprinkles or some sort of topping you must do it immeditely after covering them in chocolate.
after the chocolate covering and topping you place them in the fridge overnight (i am not quite sure the exact time) or until they are harden. and there you go you got cake pops!
they are so great and they are more fun to make anyways! ENJOY!
